The UVA student body and Charlottesville community came together on December 1 for one of the University’s favorite holiday traditions, Lighting of the Lawn.
This year marked the 16th annual Lighting of the Lawn. Thousands of spectators huddled in front of the Rotunda, sipped hot cocoa, and listened to a cappella groups as they waited for the illumination of Mr. Jefferson’s Academical Village.
