Lifetime Learning Programs


This lecture series presents notable faculty members in thought- provoking talks, seminars, workshops and forums in an effort to share the University’s vast knowledge with the entire community.


A unique educational experience during Reunions Weekend in Charlottesville. Selected seminars are free and open to the public.


On the mornings of home football games, hear some of U.Va.’s top minds. Lifetime Learning partners with the Alumni Association in offering these faculty lectures. All talks are free, open to all and held at 10 am in Alumni Hall.


One-Day UVA is a day-long, in-depth learning experience designed to educate, provoke thought and encourage dialogue among its audiences. This program brings together experts, knowledgeable leaders and others who are passionate about the particular topic.


In a continuation of UVA’s long-standing relationship with Oxford University, Lifetime Learning offers a week-long educational adventure.


A vibrant academic program that reflects on Thomas Jefferson’s ideals and life stories. Held on Grounds in Charlottesville.


An interactive reading program focused on a recent faculty book, including lectures, book readings, book signings, webinars, blogs and book discussions with UVaClubs.
