Lifetime Learning Portal

 A hub for educational resources for alumni, the portal includes a calendar of lectures and symposiums as well as learning experiences you can enjoy from your own home such as podcasts, links to websites and databases.

Research Library

University of Virginia alumni have complete access to five vast research databases from EBSCOhost, provided by the U.Va. Office of Engagement in partnership with the University Library.

Cavalier Travels

The University’s travel program stresses enlightenment as well as entertainment. Travelers can join faculty on journeys spanning the globe.

Offers seniors low-cost access to university-level courses, many taught by active or former U.Va. faculty.

The School of Continuing and Professional Studies offers hundreds of classes, both for personal enrichment and degree or certificate programs. Classes are available not only in Charlottesville, but in other communities in Virginia.

Engaging the Mind Lecture Series

The University of Virginia’s Engaging the Mind Public Lecture Series provides learning opportunities for alumni, parents and community members throughout Virginia. Notable faculty members lead thought-provoking talks, seminars, workshops and forums in an effort to share the University’s vast knowledge with communities where our alumni, parents and friends live, work and interact.
