About Peggy Mitchell Clarke

Dr. Peggy Mitchell Clarke (Educ ’91) is a clinical psychologist, consultant, and retired psychology professor with almost three decades of combined experience in mental health, safety, higher education, and media. Earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Brown University and her M.Ed. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Virginia, Peggy began her professional career as a psychotherapist and has worked in a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. Her experience in higher education includes 19 years as a psychology professor and administrator, and she currently serves on Community College of Aurora’s Behavioral Intervention Team. Recognized for her unique blend of experience and expertise, she appeared weekly as an expert panelist for four years on Denver’s 9NEWS Morning Show and is currently the host and producer of her own radio show, Living Well with Dr. Peg, which airs in Colorado. Peggy is the President of Living Well Global, a mental health and safety consulting company, and author of Do Something Different…For a Change and Doggie Tales: Lessons on Life, Love, and Loss I Learned From My Dog.  Learn more about her books, radio show, consulting, workshops, and retreats at http://www.DrPegOnline.com.
